  1. The table is open after the break. The first ball you pot is your group.
  2. Hit one of your own balls first. Pot one and you keep shooting.
  3. Clear your group, then pot the 8 to win.
  4. A foul — wrong ball, no rail, scratch — gives your opponent ball in hand.
  5. The 8 early, on a foul, or with a scratch loses the game.
